Estimated effectiveness is a comparison figure, not a promise: each stat a role needs is worth up to 45 as you reach Torn's recommended level (so about 90 for a two-stat role), every doubling above that adds about 5 more, and each EE merit adds 1. Settled-in bonus, addiction, director education and company specials aren't included. Salary for a company without a posted vacancy is what's typical in Torn at its stage, not a promise: companies still building stars often pay $50k to $200k a day, established ones usually pay in perks.
